About VDHK
Virtual Dragon Hong Kong (VDHK) is a virtual airline of the Virtual Air Traffic Simulation (VATSIM) network. It was established on the 20th August, 2008, and became a part of VATSIM since 5th March, 2009. VDHK aims to provide a variety of training for aviation enthusiasts, as well as allowing them an opportunity to simulate the Dragon Airlines real life operations (operating Dragon Air's fleet, routes etc.). Please note that VDHK is NOT associated with the real world Hong Kong Dragon Airlines in any way.

Our first flight was operated on 30, August, 2008, from Shanghai Pudong International Airport, China to Beijing Capital International Airport, China, which served as the symbol of the take-off of Virtual Dragon Hong Kong. After the concerted effort of our members and administers, today we are a partner of Shanghai VACC, VATASIA and we are based at Pudong International Airport Shanghai, which is one of the most advanced and well-known airport in mainland China.

Virtual Dragon Hong Kong's training centre is also set up in Shanghai Pudong International Airport. A wide range of trainings, ranging from aerodynamics theory to aircraft performance, from airliner operation to air traffic communication, is all available for each member in VDHK.
